Explosion in Houston Hotel Boiler Room Injures Six
On Thursday, an explosion occurred in a boiler room of a high-rise hotel in Houston, leaving six individuals injured. Firefighters responded to the incident at the Holiday Inn, located at 1319 Texas Street near Daikin Park, where workers were servicing tankless water heaters on the 17th floor. Fortunately, the hotel was still under construction, and no guests were present at the time, resulting in no outside injuries. The explosion caused significant damage, including blown-out windows and structural deformation on the building's exterior. Investigators are currently examining the circumstances surrounding the incident to ascertain the cause of the explosion.
